Our Story

The DX Future Fluency Center is the latest chapter in SEELS Co., Ltd.'s ongoing commitment to social impact and educational innovation. Our journey began with the Seels Teachers Academy, which was established as part of the Tohoku Reconstruction efforts to provide alternative employment opportunities to foreign migrants. This initiative was made possible through the Social Business Development program, realized by a grant award from the Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry (METI).

Since its inception, the Seels Teachers Academy has trained over a thousand graduates, with an impressive 85% employment rate in public and private schools across Japan. Many of these graduates have gone on to establish their own Seels DX International Schools, representing the most advanced outcomes of the program and contributing to the global spread of quality education.

As we anticipate the impact of digital transformation, which is expected to disrupt millions of jobs, SEELS has taken proactive steps to prepare the workforce for this new reality. The establishment of the Tokyo Blockchain Academy was our initial response, aimed at equipping individuals with the skills needed to thrive in the emerging digital economy. As the local hub in Japan for the Global Blockchain Initiative (GBI), a non-profit based in Frankfurt, Germany, the Tokyo Blockchain Academy plays a critical role in connecting Japanese professionals with global trends and opportunities in blockchain technology.

Marrying Montessori Education and Society 5.0 was among our latest recognized programs, presented at the 29th International Montessori Congress of the Association of Montessori Internationale held in Bangkok, Thailand, in August 2023. This initiative is a key component of our ongoing advocacy for future fluency in early childhood education.

Building on the success of these initiatives, SEELS has now launched the DX Future Fluency Center. This forward-thinking EdTech institution is designed to address the growing demand for digital transformation expertise and global communication skills, ensuring that our graduates are not just prepared for the future—they are ready to lead it.

Encircling the rocket are multicolor digital laurel leaves, which represent futurist educators who lead and protect the vision of a more inclusive and innovative future. These leaves also stand as a symbol of universal peace, emphasizing our dedication to creating a global community where technology and education work hand in hand to foster harmony and understanding.

The digital laurel leaves curve around the rocket, protecting the people at the center of our mission—the first to benefit from the advancements of Society 5.0.
